Hi! I'm AL.B. (Albe)
How it began…..
Necessity is the mother of all inventions. My cat dug a hole in a very expensive woven carpet. In order to save my carpet, and keep my cat, I needed something that the cat would like better than my carpet. So, I invented the It's a Cat Thing Cat Scratchers ©. My cat friends saw it, and they wanted one, and so on, and so on, till now I make them for everyone.
How they’re made…..
My cat scratchers are made from the finest furniture grade of maple and poplar wood for long life and strength. Just like the furniture you use at home. It is not made of cardboard or carpet. I use a natural 3/8 sisal rope that will last many, many years and cats just love it. Plus - you get to use both sides of the weaving before it wears out! Just unscrew the weaving turn it over and put it back on the other side. It's Cat Thing Cat Scratchers © should last the lifetime of your pet, (If not used by humans) from the age of kittenhood, when playful and energetic, until old age, when they need help getting up onto their favorite chair or couch.
Colors….
It's a Cat Thing Cat Scratchers are all available in natural Brazilian sisal rope. They also come in the hand dyed colors: Red, Blue, Teal, (Barney) Purple, and Kelly Green for a small extra charge, depending on size.
It's more then just a scratcher, it's cat furniture.
All It's a Cat Thing Cat Srcatchers are handmade in the U.S. with quality and pride.
Custom work is available, just ask.
Sizes….
It's a Cat Thing Cat Scratchers comes in different sizes and shapes just like cats. I make them small, for the single cat family, all the way up to the pyramid-sized scratchers for the multiple cat homes. I make them for small cats and I make them for the big 20 plus pound cats. I even make Cat Thing Houses for your cat to sleep in or give birth in for you breeders. Cats love to use my scratchers as furniture and hidey holes. They sleep on them, and sit on them, or play king of the hill with their brother and sister cats. Cats pretty much just make them their own, like the way cats play with cardboard boxes. It really works.
Care….
If needed, my cat scratchers can be cleaned with detergent and water. Then, just dry them in the sun.
One Last Tip….
Here is a secret to help all cat owners. Start your Kitten with sisal scratchers and not carpet. They will train themselves to sisal because most cats love sisal rope. It prevents problems down the road like your cat damaging your house carpets or furniture. |
